Welcome!
We're less than 90 days away from our 2025 Lee Family Reunion. It's hard to believe, but it's been nearly two years since we've gathered to celebrate the legacy of Obie and Virginia Lee. What a blessing and a privilege it is to spend time with one another, share laughs, enjoy good food, learn about our family's history, and most importantly, teach the younger generations about the importance of family unity.
The Lee Family Reunion is scheduled for Saturday June 28, 2025
at El Dorado Regional Park East
Picnic Site: Sycamore Grove
7550 E. Spring Street
Long Beach, CA 90815
12pm - 6pm
What Should I Expect?
It goes without saying that you'll be reunited with family members who you may not have seen in a long time. We hope that you'll also make the effort to get to know some of the family members you've never met or have never spent time with. If you're not sure how to initiate conversation, don't worry...the committee has designed some activities for us to get to know one another in fun ways. There will be plenty of games, food, photos, and prizes.
What Should I Bring?
Consider bringing blankets, jackets, and picnic chairs. Anyone wanting to avoid the sun should also bring a canopy. The committee has everything else covered. If you'd like to prepare a dish, feel free to bring one but be sure to label it, so we'll know who to thank.
Do I Have to Pay?
El Dorado Park charges $8 for parking on weekends. If this will present a hardship for you, it may be a good idea to identify someone to carpool with. The first 10 cars to arrive will have their parking fees reimbursed (see Linda when you arrive at the picnic area).
The only other fee associated with the reunion is for the purchase of t-shirts. The cost is $8 per person (children 5 and under will have shirts provided to them at no cost).
